Absence

[ooc] Greetings, IIII. As I think most of you have noticed, I haven't been in Mirth for
a few months. It started with me deciding to give it a break, since I had an increasingly
hard time focusing on my real life, because of the amount of time I spent with my alts,
or just standing idle in some zone chatting or doing the occasional arpee.

Time went by, and after I got a letter from an old friend from an old world, I reactivated
my WoW account on the realm of Ravenholdt RPPvP [EU]. It started with casual gaming
with my various undead characters, and it got serious when I joined a RP guild.

I feel a little bad now, because I sort of left my friends in Mirth behind. I left with some
unfulfilled promises, and hopes of returning, when all I did was trade one addiction for
another. I will come to visit one day, I don't know when. Hopefully I'll stay, if only for a
while. There's something MoM has that WoW doesn't, and that's the closeness and the
sense of belonging. In WoW, you're lost in a universe of masses of characters of all kinds,
like in a RL town, but MoM is like a village where you know most people. And I miss that.

Hello Draknir! Good to hear from you. I hope you got your real life stuff done before diving
into WoW. You would be surprised how few players are left in MoM, my buddy list is usually
empty when I log in (which happens rarely). Also, I noticed that the amount of players is
halved compared to last year. I hope they will do some advertising to reach the old numbers.

Mora and I even tested Planeshift again, to see if it changed to good. Well, wasn't the case,
but they have some nice features I would like to see in MoM. All are roleplay related, so I
don't think PG is interested in them.

Don't let your gaming get out of hand

Greetings Draknir, it's nice to hear you again... Like you, I havn't been playing much this last months... Playing on... WoW... Nah, just kidding, it is/was on Enemy Territory, Wolfenstein, but notably for my guild I'm still sometimes, not often, online... I'm still looking messages in MoM's forums and in the timeline everyday...
And about Planeshift, I enterily lost any contact (not only players) from it, even gave my account to an old friend... This game will only reach MoM with it's development in something like 2100...
Furthermore, my RL is becoming more and more busy because of my BAC... So, no time to finish my zone and my dis-/enchanting...

Hi Hellago. Good luck with your baccalaureate! Too bad you didn't get to finish
those zones of yours, they looked neat. Maybe if the interest comes back, I'll
get to finish the snow zone that I started... I doubt I will though.

For the Dyorian's Lake :
I almost did, the modelization part is complete, the texturing part is complete, the water addition is complete, the shapes additions / placement is complete, the fire addition is complete, I now only need to add lights and code mobs (maybe some items) and I will send it to PG...
Don't wanna get involved into the the quest additions / mobs placements...

For the Nallycian's Forest, more things are still needed : some shapes additions, the fire/lights additions... but the major part is complete too...

Just waiting to get my BAC to finish them...
